Pupil Support Worker - Enhanced Support Base Craigentinny Primary School Salary: £26,337 - £28,835 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional) Hours: 27.5 per week, 39 weeks sessional Craigentinny Primary School is a non-denominational school serving the Craigentinny and Restalrig areas of North Edinburgh. The school has a current roll of around 320 children with two additional Enhanced Support classes. We are looking to recruit committed, enthusiastic Pupil Support Workers to make a contribution to the development and delivery of high quality education at Craigentinny Primary Enhanced Support Base. There are currently two classes and the successful candidates will be working with children who have a diagnosis of autism. We use a total communication approach (e.g. using limited speech, visuals and Signalong) and the SCERTS framework to guide the pupils' learning. Previous experience of working in Special Education and/or these approaches is desirable.
