The Role
The role of General Manager is a big one. Leading the team, determining layout and stock, delivering sales and service, in fact, all day-to-day operational decision making goes through you. And our size; big enough to operate with proper structure, small enough to give you space, means that you really can make a difference. Expect room to impact the bottom line, project management work on the development of your site and involvement in wider company initiatives using the experience or expertise you have to offer. We’re a team here and you’ll play a real part in it.
The Person
We’re looking for a people person with the skill and nuance to manage and lead people with inspiration and enthusiasm. Garden centre experience or a love of the industry is helpful, but you could be operating at a responsible level in a variety of retail environments and have something to offer us.
