Join our dynamic AGT Field Service team as an FS Operations Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring business continuity and operational excellence. You will lead a talented group of Field Service Engineers, setting clear goals and fostering their professional development while ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Imagine overseeing the execution of on-site services for Aeroderivative Gas Turbines, acting as a technical expert to resolve complex issues, and driving process improvements that enhance service quality. Your leadership will not only optimize field service operations but also strengthen key customer relationships, making a significant impact on our mission to deliver exceptional technical services.
How You’ll Make an Impact
1. You will set clear goals and operational objectives for your team of Field Service Engineers, ensuring business targets are met.
2. Supervise, mentor, and facilitate the professional development of team members, fostering a culture of accountability and conducting regular performance reviews.
3. You will oversee the execution of on-site services, including commissioning, installation, testing, and troubleshooting of AGT systems.
4. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, acting as the primary point of contact for operational matters.
5. Monitor and manage operational budgets for field service activities, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
What You Bring
6. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
7. You have significant experience in a field service engineering role, preferably within the power generation or oil & gas industry.
8. Possess proven leadership experience, managing technical professionals in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
9. Strong technical expertise in mechanical and electrical systems, along with analytical skills to drive process improvements.
10. Skilled in operational and project management, with a focus on quality control and collaboration.
