Please note: There is a requirement to be on the out of hours rota, to be on call and to attend works out of hours, at weekends and on public holiday.
Outline of key responsibilities
* Carry out electrical maintenance and installation works in line with company standards and industry best practice, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
* Diagnose and resolve complex electrical faults using your technical expertise, ensuring all work is compliant with current legislation and regulatory requirements
* Provide guidance and support to colleagues on site, taking responsibility for the successful completion of tasks
* Communicate technical information clearly to customers and non-technical colleagues, including explaining works, safety requirements, and compliance standards
* Work safely at all times, ensuring the wellbeing of yourself, colleagues, customers, and the wider public, in line with health and safety regulations and procedures
* Manage jobs from start to finish, including inspections, planning, materials ordering, completion of works, and accurate, timely documentation
We are looking for someone who has
* A recognised electrical qualification (e.g. City & Guilds or equivalent)
* A 2391 Inspection and Testing Qualification
* Proven experience (minimum 3 years) working in an electrical maintenance environment
* Current registration with a relevant professional or regulatory body
* A strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service
* A full UK driving licence
