Occupational Therapist Functional Assessor
Permanent – full time or part time available (Mon-Fri). Mixture of remote and assessment centre working.
Responsibilities
* Use your clinical experience to assess claimants applying for Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS).
* Conduct assessments with individuals who have a broad range of health conditions, remotely or in person, to gain a clear understanding of how their disability affects daily life.
* Interpret medical evidence and compile findings into a comprehensive report to support DWP decision-making.
Requirements
* We can only accept applications from Occupational Therapists for this vacancy
* HCPC registration is required
* At least 1 year of broad post-registration experience; UK experience is essential
* Proactive, keen to learn and receptive to feedback
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously and IT competency

Location and Salary
Salary: £39,500 per year
Location options include Carmarthen, Pontypridd, Bridgend and other locations in Wales; permanent roles with flexible patterns
