Crisis Services Administrator - Camden & Islington Crisis Services

An opportunity has come up within our Community Crisis Services for a full -time Band 4 Administrator -we anticipate covering Regis Road reception 1-2 days per week, Covering the crisis houses in Camden 1-2 days per week and the other day covering Greenwood Centre - but this is subject to change

You will also be required to cover the other areas of Camden and Islington Crisis services when needed which may be working from Highgate / support crisis teams

Therefore real flexibility is needed in this role as part of the Crisis Admin team across Camden & Islington

This will mean you will be required to work office based only

If you require home working this is unlikely to fit your needs

The successful candidate will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams in the division ensuring that efficient and effective administration support is given, including the collection and reporting of accurate data sets and usual admin tasks such as minute taking, ordering and delivery of stock/office supplies and any other task as appropriate

You must be experienced, dedicated, reliable, proactive, and a flexible individual who is assertive and take the initiative in anticipating the needs of their teams.

You should be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team. Along with being able to demonstrate good verbal and written communication skills

Main duties of the job

Some of the core tasks :

* To maintain and submit key performance data within strict timelines - Crisis data on RIO and caseload monitoring
* Power BI use and supporting managers with performance management
* Data entry on our Electronic Patient Records (EPR) system/RIO
* To minute Business/Team Meetings and any other relevant meeting
* To provide support with audits
* Procurement
* General administrative functions and office tasks such as minute taking and confidence with office 365 and Excel.

To be considered for this role you will be dynamic, positive, possess strong organisational and planning skills, and have the ability to effectively support clinical teams and managers within the division as required.

The roles requires someone who is multi-skilled, with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office suite skill set (in particular Excel). Previous NHS experience in a mental health or social care environment would be highly regarded .

Data experience would be preferable and working with KPI's and dashboards

Person Specification


Qualifications/Registration

* Evidence of good general education
* Formal computing and/or business administration qualifiation or equivalent experience
* Interest in continuing professional development


Skills/Abilities

* MS Office Software, to include Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
* Communication skills, both verbally and in writing
* Ability to prioritise workload, able to work on own initiative and be proactive in problem solving
* Able to work in a challenging environment
* Diary management
* Be able to respond flexibly to competing demands of the service


Experience

* Experienced in the use of clinical databases to enter and retrieve information
* Experience of working in an administrative role
* Experience of servicing meetings
* Experience of working in the NHS
* Understanding the needs of mental health service users
* Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary team


Knowledge

* An understanding of the Trusts Equal Opportunities policy, as well as HR policies and procedures
* An understanding of relevant legislation, e.g Health & Safety, Data Protection, Confidentiality
