Location: Bristol or CheltenhamClearance: This position would require the successful applicant to under go SC security clearanceThe Role:This is intended as a guide to the type of work the Solution Delivery & Support Team Leader may be asked to perform and is not an exhaustive list.Provide effective leadership and direction to the Solution Delivery & Support team, including line management of your direct reports.Develop the capabilities of the Solution Delivery & Support team, to meet current and future demands, in line with our strategy and plans. Strengthening our Service Management and Service Delivery capability for digital, data and technology services is a major focus.As a member of the Technology Solutions leadership team, make a significant and proactive contribution to the Technology Solutions Practice, helping to ensure we meet the strategic objectives and aspirations.Manage the resourcing of the Solution Delivery & Support team, including recruitment and deployment.Provide technical leadership and support for our projects, ensuring we provide effective contributions on all aspects of Solution Delivery & Support.Support sales, marketing and business development opportunities to help ensure we sell our services and capabilities and maintain a growing pipeline of business.Develop plans to help achieve our aspirations and deliver on our strategic priorities.50% of time will be spent working on customer-funded projects. The remaining time is expected to be indirect, working on leadership & management activities, building capability and supporting Win Work activities.The Person:Key Characteristics-Breadth of consultancy and/or implementation experience, working as a trusted advisor directly with clients and/or as part of a wider team.Strong leadership & communication skills; able to build trust, collaborate widely, get the best out of people, develop and mentor colleagues.Strong commercial acumen.
