Our client, Achieving for Children (Kingston and Richmond Councils), is seeking social workers for the following agency roles.
* Team Leader – Child and Family Help - £41.10 umbrella
The Child and Family Help Team Leader will provide leadership and management to the Child and Family Help Team including managing Child and Family Help Practitioners, Advanced Practitioners and Social Workers to deliver high-quality interventions aligned with AfC’s assessment planning, and intervention framework. They will provide good quality assurance of assessments, care plans and delivery of AfC’s practice model to achieve positive changes, independence, reduced risk factors to avoid escalation into specialist services.
* Social Worker – Children’s Safeguarding team - £39.04 umbrella
Child and Family assessments, child protection enquiries, safety planning with children and families, direct work with children and young people, care proceedings and court work.

Requirements of the role:
* Qualified Social Worker
* Fully Social Work England registered
* 3 years post-qualified experience in employment of a local authority (DFE rules)
* For the Team Leader role, must have some experience of managing staff, and Early/Family Help work
* For the Social Work role, must have child protection and court work experience.
