We are seeking a qualified and experienced Welder – Mobile Plant to join our maintenance team. This hands-on role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, inspections, and mechanical repairs on mobile plant equipment, with a strong focus on welding, fabrication, and hardfacing work to extend the service life of wear-prone components. The successful candidate will be skilled in MIG and ARC welding, gas cutting, mechanical diagnostics, and hardfacing techniques. They should be capable of working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced operational environment. Hours 6am - 6pm, Monday - Friday or Thursday - Monday Duties & Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and inspection of mobile plant on site Perform incidental welding operations and other mechanical repair work as required Perform inspections and test mechanical units Use of oxy/acetylene gas cutting equipment, abrasive wheel cutting Welding using mig and arc welding equipment Ability to use power and hand tools Must be able to work as part of a team and individually Qualifications Qualified / certified welder Minimum 3 years’ additional experience Strong diagnostics capabilities and have pride in their work.
