Job purpose
To assist with a variety of tasks which will enable the person who needs care and support to live their personal and social life according to their wishes and interests.
Responsibilities
* Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
* Attend medical appointments when required
* Do hobbies such as crafting, watching films
* Attend social events
* Provide occasional support with personal care
* Support with grocery shopping
* Assist in preparing and cooking food
* General cleaning
* Change bed linen and do laundry
Type of person
* Values: Honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy-going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel, understands equality and diversity or has a good sense of humour.
* Specific requirements: Valid driver's licence and willingness to drive client's vehicle.

Hours of work
20 hours per week
Rate of pay
£13.01 per hour
Skills, qualifications, and experience
* Full UK driving licence
* Car and appropriate insurance
* Good time keeping
* Confidentiality
* Good at building relationships
* Willing to work weekends if required by the Employer
