Housing Support Assistant

To cover Staffordshire and Cheshire area (Base location is Liverpool)

£26,012 per annum plus company car

37.5 hours per week

Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Housing Support Assistant across the Staffordshire and Cheshire area (Base location may vary dependent upon suitable candidate).

The role of Housing Support Assistant will include:
* Providing onsite management and supervision of the supported housing service ensuring the delivery of an effective, enhanced, housing management service
* Assisting with tenancy and voids management and maintaining occupancy levels
* Supporting and promoting compliance with safeguarding policies and procedures
* Building and maintaining relationships with customers and internal and external key stakeholders
* Managing the procurement and availability of supplies, furniture, and equipment
* Recording and updating relevant data, maintaining effective filing systems
* Contributing to special projects and change programmes as appropriate
Skills and experiences:
* Previous experience delivering tenancy services
* Experience working to deadlines and prioritising workload
* Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
* Literacy and numeracy to the equivalent of Grade C English and Maths GCSE
* NVQ2 or equivalent in relevant area
* Ability to extract and interrogate data
* Some experience in the use of housing management systems or similar is desirable
* This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence.
