Flitwick Surgery is looking for a committed and enthusiastic GP to join their busy practice covering a minimum of 4 sessions. In the long term there may be potential for partnership. The vacancy has arisen due to a GP relocating. We support portfolio working and are interested to hear from GPs with special interests or who may want to lead on specific conditions or disease management. We are an innovative and forward-thinking practice always looking to improve the way we deliver patient care and support our staff. We introduced full GP triage over a year ago (which has been well received by patients) and are looking at other ways to modernise our systems. If you are interested in an opportunity with us, then you are very welcome to come and visit us, spend time talking with our staff and get a sense of what a `typical’ working day would be like. Working as part of our multidisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to support and care for a diverse patient group in a semi-rural/small commuter town location. The role will include all general duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care, including GP online triage using AccuRx.
