We are seeking a caring and committed 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a pupil who would benefit from personalised learning and guidance throughout their school day. What your day might look like • Providing dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil with additional learning needs • Adapting classroom activities so the pupil can fully access the curriculum • Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour • Supporting learning through structured routines, targeted interventions, and personalised strategies • Working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support team • Helping create a calm and inclusive learning environment where every child feels safe and supported No two days will be the same, but every day will give you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference. What we’re looking for We would love to hear from individuals who are patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting young learners. You may have: • Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a school or SEN setting • A calm and supportive approach to behaviour and emotional support • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff • A genuine interest in supporting children with additional needs • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or SEND (helpful but not essential) Most importantly, you will be someone who believes every child deserves the opportunity to succeed.
