About The Role
We are seeking a committed Innovation Projects Support Officer on a fixed-term opportunity until March 2027, offering the chance to be part of a high-profile, region-wide innovation programme. Employed by Oldham College on behalf of GM Colleges, you’ll work in a hybrid capacity across Greater Manchester, collaborating with multiple college partners and stakeholders. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to large-scale projects, build your network, and contribute to driving innovation and productivity across the region.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate and support project and consortium meetings, including scheduling, agendas, and tracking actions
* Provide day-to-day administrative and coordination support across multiple innovation projects
* Maintain accurate records and support monitoring, reporting, and data submissions to stakeholders
* Assist with financial processes such as purchase orders, payments, and supplier liaison
* Support the planning and delivery of events, ensuring smooth organisation and stakeholder engagement
* Carry out duties in line with College policies and procedures, including safeguarding and equality commitments
Skills And Experience
* Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
* Experience providing high-quality administrative support
* Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook)
