The successful candidate will be able to support the Operational Manager and the team by carrying out the following duties. Operating and maintaining (once fully trained) plant and machinery in Materials Recovery Facility areas of the site Machines include; loading shovel, forklift trucks attachments, Telescopic handlers and baling/ compactor equipment Working as part of a team to ensure bags are produced in an orderly manner Complete daily checks and defect reporting for the plant, keeping the plant clean inside and out Effectively managing vehicles delivering or collecting from site Participate in skip waste sorting and the positive picking of larger items of recyclables from tipped vehicles Quality checking on incoming materials and bales to ensure they are at the required standard Bailing/ compacting of material or forming good quality bales for reprocessing Experience operating plant machinery, including loading shovel Baling/ compacting experience Hours of work and pay rates: Tuesday to Friday night shift, 17:45pm till 6:15am £13.90 per hour for basic hours, £19.64 per hour after completing base 48 hours, £27.80 per for any bank holidays worked Benefits of working for TBC include: On-going assignments Weekly pay, Hourly rate as above (not age dependent) Holiday entitlement Personal accident insurance On-line Payslips Pension provision 28 days Paid Annual Leave pro-rata for PAYE (inclusive of statutory holiday) Hourly rate as above (not age dependent) Overtime Available
