1. Support the shift manager in managing the shift team and providing cover for manager absence.
2. Begin your management journey.
3. Maintain, repair, and support the equipment detailed within the agreed Dematic scope of contract on the Customer's site.
4. Ensure delivery to both Dematic and the Customer’s expectations with the aim of achieving KPI targets at all times.
5. Undertake AMHE equipment servicing in accordance with the quality standards and time schedules as set out in the equipment manuals.
6. Undertake scheduled repairs in accordance with the manufacturers' recommendations and industry standard practices.
7. Diagnose Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic / PLC / PC faults and perform subsequent repairs.
8. Prioritise system faults.
9. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation at all times.
10. Ensure quality of output at all times.
11. Accurately record all work undertaken.
12. Participate in continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities.
13. Maintain product flow at all times.
14. Keep on-site spares at optimum levels.
15. Represent the company professionally and maintain customer relations.
16. Adhere to the Quality processes and procedures set out by the company.
17. Qualifications: ONC in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.
18. Desirable: IOSH working safely, experience managing a team, foundation qualifications in people management.
19. Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship.
20. Good understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic manuals & drawings.
21. Basic understanding of control systems and problem solving techniques.
22. Basic understanding of PLC equipment.
23. Willingness to work at height.
24. Previous experience with conveyor systems.
25. Good PC literacy.
26. Knowledge of PPM schedules.
27. Understanding of FEM and BS standards in automated warehouse industry.
28. Continuous improvement mentality.
