The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Group Reporting, the Management Accountant will play a key role in the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts across several entities within the group.
You’ll work across both UK and offshore jurisdictions, supporting financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting activities while helping to ensure financial information remains accurate, timely, and insightful for senior stakeholders.
Alongside core reporting responsibilities, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to systems improvements, data reporting, and cross-functional finance projects as the business continues to scale.
Key Responsibilities
Management Accounts & Reporting
* Prepare accurate monthly management accounts across multiple group entities
* Maintain financial reporting across the multi-entity structure, ensuring consistency and accuracy
* Support the preparation of statutory accounts and assist with the year-end audit process
* Deliver variance analysis and commentary on financial performance
Financial Analysis & Forecasting
* Analyse key financial metrics including margins, turnover, and operational performance
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and rolling cashflow projections
* Identify trends, risks, and opportunities within the financials and present findings to senior stakeholders
* Contribute to benchmarking exercises and performance analysis across the group
Intercompany & Group Accounting
* Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across group entities
* Support group funding processes and maintain accurate intercompany balances
* Assist with compliance and financial reporting requirements across jurisdictions
Systems & Process Improvement
* Utilise reporting tools and dashboards to enhance management information
* Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency
* Support ongoing systems and data projects within the wider finance function
Stakeholder Support
* Work closely with operational teams across the business to provide financial insight
* Support ad-hoc analysis and finance projects for senior leadership
* Liaise with external auditors, advisors, and banking partners when required
About You
* Part-qualified ACCA / CIMA with circa 2–3 years’ experience in a finance role
* Experience producing management accounts or supporting month-end processes
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial information
* High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and control
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with stakeholders across the business
* Proactive, organised, and keen to develop within a growing finance team
