Embedded Software Engineer – Security Clearance – Cambridge
A growing spinout security technology company, based in Cambridge, is currently seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to assist with the development, modification, and enhancement of various security technologies.
Responsibilities
* Develop embedded software for radio, satellite, communications, radar, sensors, and other complex technologies used in defence, aerospace, telecommunications, and related sectors.
* Collaborate with electronics design engineers, software engineers, mechanical engineers, physicists, and other specialists.
* Develop new technologies and versions of existing technology; improve current versions; contribute to unique client projects.
* Work across diverse projects and maintain engagement through challenging problems.
Qualifications and Experience
* Substantial experience in developing embedded systems using C/C++.
* Experience across telecommunications, aerospace, scientific, radar, radio, or related complex technologies is beneficial but not essential.
* Security clearance may be required; eligibility includes British citizenship with no criminal record and tax/residency in the UK.

Salary will be determined based on experience; there may be new roles approved in the future.
