The role has the pivotal responsibility of liaising between the sales team and operations/dispatch, ensuring all shipments are processed fully to comply to all international import & export customs requirements
Responsibilities and Duties:
Sales order processing, progressing and prioritising
working with lead-times and shortages
Courier management
quotes/calculations, logistics organisation booking shipments, customs - dispatch & collection paperwork for imports/exports
Verifying international commodity codes for customs duties
Interacting with multiple carriers as well as different internal teams
Excellent customer service, call handling (as often the first point of contact)
Returns process/service return paperwork
General admin tasks
Communicate effectively with co-workers and management.
Experience and Requirements:
Proven previous experience within an office based administration role and high level of attention to detail is essential
Knowledge of importing & exporting globally, international shipping requirements, commodity codes are highly desirable
Keen eye for detail.
