Salary - £60,000 per annum An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Executive Head Chef to join our truly talented team and lead the opening team of Gordon Ramsay Bread Street Kitchen at DoubleTree by Hilton Bath.
We are looking for an Executive Head Chef who is passionate about delivering the higest levels of service at Gordon Ramsays Bread Steet Kitchen & Bar. You will be reporting directly to General Manager, and you will be responsible for managing the kitchen team and back-of-house F&B spaces, as well as menu development while driving the business to achieve the budgeted KPI's.

As Executive Head Chef you are responsible for managing the day to day operation of the kitchen whilst achieving company objectives in regard to sales targets, cost control and employee retention.
The Executive Head Chef is responsible for leading the kitchen operation, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality dishes & food that meets the Gordon Ramsay Restaurants standards and guest expectations.
The role oversees food preparation, and presentation while maintaining strict compliance with food safety, hygiene, and cost control requirements.
The Executive Head Chef provides leadership, training, and supervision to the kitchen team, fostering a productive and professional environment. The position plays a key role in driving culinary excellence, operational efficiency, and overall guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Specifically, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Ensure the kitchen is managed efficiently on a daily basis while supervising service and ensuring the food is compliant with restaurant standards
Lead, inspire and motivate the team to achieve agreed goals and objectives
Develop the kitchen brigade through the use of the company's learning and development programme, on the job chats and employee appraisals
Compile menus and change dishes according to the time of year and seasonal produce
Support the management team to ensure targets are met with labour and food costs
Ensure food stock ordering is maintained with consideration to the allocated budget and that stock controls are in place with a comprehensive stock take done monthly
Ensure full understanding of the functional administration of the restaurant, i.e., docket procedures, sta-tions, table numbers, food labelling etc
Ensure compliance with legal requirements under the H&S act 1974 and Food Hygiene
Escalate maintenance issues to the relevant parties, ensuring that employees are working within a safe environment.
Maintain and proactively manage resourcing requirements by following the company recruitment authori-sation procedure.
Train new staff members, integrating them into the team and ensuring they are fully trained during their induction period

Experience streamlining kitchen workflows for efficiency
Experience managing sous chefs, line cooks, and kitchen porters
Experience as an Exec/Head Chef in a premium high volume quality restaurant environment
