What you’ll do * Survey homes and planned works to spot issues early and keep quality high * Manage site safety checks and make sure contractors follow the right controls * Update systems with accurate data so we can plan programmes and understand stock * Give clear technical advice to colleagues, contractors and customers * Build strong working relationships that help work run smoothly from start to finish Why join us You’ll join a team that cares about doing things right and making homes safer for people who rely on us. You have * Building surveying experience and can assess property condition issues * Hold HNC, HND or degree in surveying * Knowledge of repairs, construction and CDM * Experience managing contractors and delivering safe, quality work * Strong skills in producing clear technical reports for different audiences. The practical bits * You’ll work Monday to Friday * You’ll work core hours between 9 and 5 with flexibility built in * We typically work on a hybrid basis with 2 days per week in our Maryport office, with the rest working from home * You need a vehicle insured for business use, and we pay your mileage * You need a basic DBS check that we pay for.
