DT Technician - Independent Secondary School - Tunbridge Wells Start Date: As soon as possible Contract: Full-time, Permanent Salary: Paid to scale DT Technician An Independent secondary school in Tunbridge Wells is seeking a skilled and organised DT Technician to support their successful Design Technology department. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a creative and well-equipped environment where students are encouraged to develop practical and technical skills across a range of disciplines. The successful candidate will support teaching staff by preparing tools, materials and equipment for practical lessons across KS3, KS4 and KS5. You will maintain workshop spaces, ensure machinery and equipment are safe and operational, and assist with stock management and ordering resources. The role may involve supporting areas such as resistant materials, product design and engineering, depending on your experience and the needs of the department. You will also ensure that all health and safety procedures are followed carefully and consistently throughout the department. Strong practical skills, organisation and attention to detail are essential for this role. The school is looking for someone proactive and reliable who can contribute positively to a busy and collaborative department. Experience working within a workshop, technical or educational environment would be advantageous.
