HGV Class 2 Sweeper Driver (Temp to Perm)
Location: Barnsley
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (4 nights away)
Salary: £15.50 – £17.37 per hour + £25.00 per evening expense
About the role:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated HGV Class 2 Sweeper Driver to join our client on a temp to perm basis, located in Barnsley. You’ll be responsible for driving and operating a road sweeper vehicle to maintain clean construction sites, and industrial areas.
Key responsibilities:
1. Operate a Class 2 sweeper vehicle safely and efficiently
2. Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any defects
3. Work across various sites
4. Ensure compliance with all transport and safety regulations
What we are looking for:
5. Valid HGV Class 2 Licence
6. Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card (essential)
7. Proven experience driving sweepers
8. Strong understanding of driver hours and regulations
