As our Upstream Marketing Manager, EMEAC, you will be responsible for all GYN Surgical Solutions regional upstream marketing activities related to the franchise. Your understanding of current and future market needs and priorities and develops high impact portfolio programs to grow the franchise in alignment with Intl. objectives.
What To Expect
* Own and lead New Product Introductions (NPI), OEM and business enabling projects for the region
* Develop long-term portfolio roadmaps and elaborate business cases to ensure future growth
* Manage the life cycle of the portfolio under your responsibility
* Lead upstream projects to successful closure within our matrix organization
* Align, prioritize, and lead upstream marketing activities to maximize portfolio revenues and profitability
* Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
* Support, and guide in-country commercial teams to maximize the opportunities within the franchise(s).
What We Expect
Knowledge
* Master’s degree in marketing, engineering, business, or a related field
* Minimum of 10+ years of international/European marketing or combination of sales and marketing experience.
* Experience in managing upstream and downstream marketing activities with diverse regional and corporate stakeholders.
* Strong knowledge of current and future market needs and priorities in the surgery space.
* Knowledge of business, consumer, and competitive landscape in the EMEAC region.
* Very good understanding of regulatory requirements and competitive landscape.
* Proven experience in project management of complex NPIs and business enabling projects.
* Competence in portfolio life cycle management.
* Highly developed business acumen to support strategic planning initiatives.
* Understand regional differences in market needs, clinical practice patterns, and regulatory environment.
* Knowledge of marketing excellence practices
Skills:
* Ability in building strong business cases from concept to approved project charter to execution.
* Ability to elaborate a product roadmap and go to market strategies.
* Ability to translate unmet customer needs into product specifications
* Strong stakeholder and KOL management, including interactions with market access, scientific affairs, quality, regulatory, legal, R&D and operations teams.
* Strong proficiency in conducting and analysing market studies to inform business decisions.
* Ability to communicate regular updates to divisional and regional teams about marketing objectives and progress.

Travel requirements: Up to 40%
Language requirements: English (additional European Languages advantageous)
Location: Europe with preference UK, Belgium, NL
