Start Times: Early start between 5:00 AM - 8:00 AM
We are seeking an experienced Transport Shift Manager to work in a multichamber warehouse within the Transport division.
* Assist Operational Management by managing and generating shipping requirements for distribution routes, from warehouse to end-user, maintaining accurate and current performance reports for your designated shift.
* Manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct reports, ensuring all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames while maintaining standards of excellence.
* Track and trace shipping orders using digital in-house tracking software, ensuring compliance with legislation and proper record keeping.
* Monitor recruitment levels and initiate staff training as needed, maintaining up-to-date records in line with company policies.
What do we need from you?
* Previous practical experience in Transport and people management.
* Comprehensive knowledge of team wellbeing, performance, and motivation through regular performance dialogues.
* Experience in the preparation and distribution of volume orders.
* Computer literacy with practical knowledge of logistics software packages.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage, organize, and train direct reports.
* Knowledge of Transport legal compliance.
* Transport Certificate of Professional Competence (Desirable).
