Service Engineer - Gloucester
As service Engineer, you will work directly with the end customer when required, carrying out complex repairs and inspections to aircraft landing gear at our customers' facilities.
Key responsibilities:
Disassembly and inspection of landing gear, with application of remedial action to enable final assembly, test and certification
Work in accordance with OEM instructions as required.
Carry out complex repairs and inspections to aircraft landing gear at our customers' facilities
Communicating directly to customers managing their expectations to provide excellent support.
Carry out onsite support as required working as part of a workshop team
Carrying out the recertification of landing gears including disassembly, inspection, local repairs, bushing, assembly & testWhat you'll need:
Engineering Apprenticeship + 5 Yrs experience in an aviation environment or similar
Ability to interpret Component Maintenance Manuals, Technical Drawings & instructions.
High level of dexterity with attention for detail
Ability to use a variety of hand tools including precision measuring equipment.
Understanding of electrical circuits.
UK driving license
Role requires frequent travel and applicants must be deemed medically fit to travel
