We are looking for a highly organised and experienced Senior Construction Site Logistics Manager to take the lead on all on-site logistical operations for a major project in Berkshire. This role is central to ensuring the safe, efficient, and smooth running of the site, working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and operational staff.

The Role
You will be responsible for managing site access, delivery coordination, traffic flow, waste management, security, and emergency procedures. Acting as a key point of control on site, you'll ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards while leading a small team of logistics and security personnel.
Key responsibilities include:
Oversee all site logistics including delivery scheduling, traffic management, and material storage
Lead on-site health & safety coordination, CDM compliance, RAMS review, and incident reporting
Act as Lead Fire Coordinator, managing emergency procedures and fire equipment compliance
Manage site security, access control, gate operations, and CCTV monitoring
Implement and monitor the Site Waste Management Plan and environmental compliance
Supervise logistics operatives, traffic marshals, and security staff
Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to maintain workflow
About You
To be considered for the role of Senior Construction Site Logistics Manager you will need to demonstrate:
SMSTS (essential)
CSCS Black Card (or equivalent)
Fire Coordinator certification (or equivalent)
First Aid at Work (essential)
NEBOSH or IOSH (desirable)
Minimum 5+ years' experience in construction logistics on large UK projects
Strong knowledge of H&S legislation, CDM Regulations, and site compliance
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple moving parts
Confident communicator and effective team leader
