The Organisation
Our client is an environmental charity. They are seeking a Heritage Education Officer on a part-time basis, working 18.5 hours per week, for a fixed-term contract from 26th May 2025 to 31st December 2026.

Role Overview
As Heritage Education Officer, you will lead educational programs, develop engaging learning resources, support outdoor classrooms, and foster partnerships with schools of various types, including primary, secondary, and SEND.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and deliver educational content related to the area's geological, natural, and cultural heritage.
2. Manage a grant scheme for outdoor learning spaces and support teacher qualifications.
3. Maintain communication with schools through newsletters and events.
4. Create social media and website content.
5. Support outreach and monitor activities.
6. Coordinate with finance staff for budget management.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in environmental, heritage, or educational roles.
* Project planning and management experience, including budgets.
* Experience liaising with partners and delivering training face-to-face and online.
* Experience developing monitoring and evaluation frameworks.
