Assistant Teacher – Booker Park School (Vale Federation)
Bucks Pay Range 4
Hours: 37 hrs per week
Work Pattern: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday 8.30am – 4.30pm, Wednesday 8.30am - 5.00pm, Fridays 8.30am - 5.00pm
Weeks: 39 weeks including INSET days
Booker Park School is seeking a caring, motivated Assistant Teacher to support pupils with special educational needs. You’ll work with individuals, groups and whole classes, helping deliver engaging learning and supporting pupils’ personal and academic development.
What you’ll do
Support teaching and learning in class
Lead whole‑class sessions during teacher absence
Assist pupils with SEN, including personal care
Create positive relationships and promote independence
Help plan lessons, prepare resources and record progress

Kind, patient and enthusiastic
Confident working with children with additional needs
Able to follow guidance and take initiative
Willing to undertake training, including clinical procedures
