An excellent development opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Pharmacy Technician to join our diverse team as a Senior Pharmacy Technician – CPSD Team Leader.
This role will manage workload and supervise staff on a day‑to‑day basis, driving efficient working and organising cover for any unexpected staff absences to ensure a safe, effective and timely service in accordance with current legislation and guidance.

Responsibilities
* Supervising and directly managing the delivery of efficient and effective day‑to‑day operations and logistics within the pharmacy purchasing, invoicing, stores and distribution teams.
* Developing and maintaining a working environment that encourages teamwork, mutual support and excellence in service delivery and reduces risks to a minimum.
* Writing and updating standard operating procedures in line with governance requirements for pharmacy purchasing, invoicing, storage and distribution and assisting in their implementation.
* Assisting in ensuring the Pharmacy Stores and Distribution service and all staff in those areas comply with the terms of the Wholesaler dealers licence granted by the MHRA / Good Distribution Practice.
* Assisting in the delivery of training for all pharmacy staff involved in the purchasing, invoicing, storage and distribution of medicines.
* Actively working towards maintaining key performance targets and monitoring the quality of service provided, in partnership with the Specialist Pharmacy Procurement Manager.
Qualifications
* Demonstrated core leadership and organisational skills and the ability to inspire and motivate others.
* Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role (advantageous).
* Understanding of Good Distribution Practice.
* Registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council.

* A full‑time permanent vacancy cannot be filled by individuals on a Student visa unless they have applied for a Graduate visa.
* Or they have successfully completed their course and applied for a Graduate visa before the anticipated start date.
* Or the Trust has agreed to sponsor them as a Skilled Worker and they will complete their studies within 3 months of the anticipated start date.
