🕒 The Role at a Glance
Position: Dental Nurse
Employment Type: Permanent, part-time
Working Days: 3 to 4 days per week – Fridays are essential, and you can choose the remaining days (Monday to Thursday)
Hours: 08:30 AM – 5:15 PM
Weekends: Not required – but weekend shifts are available if you wish to earn more or vary your routine
Start Date: As soon as you're ready to join!This role offers an excellent balance between routine and variety, as you will work closely with a talented team of clinicians across different areas of dentistry while still enjoying predictable daytime hours and a supportive structure.
💼 What You’ll Be Doing – Your Core Responsibilities
As one of our valued Dental Nurses, you will play an integral part in the smooth running of clinical sessions and the overall patient journey. Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Delivering exceptional chairside assistance to dentists and specialists during treatments, including general, orthodontic, implant, endodontic, and restorative procedures
Maintaining impeccable standards of cross-infection control and decontamination
Preparing surgeries and dental equipment ahead of appointments
Ensuring accurate and timely clinical record-keeping
Liaising with the wider dental team to ensure patient needs are met with care and efficiency
Occasionally supporting the reception desk when needed – your organisational skills and patient-facing experience will shine hereThis is a varied and fulfilling role that calls for someone who is calm under pressure, takes pride in their work, and enjoys being part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
✅ What We’re Looking For To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Essential Requirements:
GDC registered Dental Nurse
Right to work in the UK
A high level of fluency in English, both written and spoken
A reliable, friendly, and proactive attitude, with a genuine interest in dentistry and patient careDesirable Experience:
Familiarity with SOE Exact dental software
Previous experience working on reception or providing front-of-house support in a dental setting
