Overview
Release Train Engineer role at UltraSoC. Based in the UK. An exceptional servant leader who understands Lean-Agile principles and the SAFe framework, you’ll facilitate, coach and mentor a geographically dispersed team that delivers a mix of software products (including desktop, cloud, and SaaS). As a small team in a large organisation, you will build strong relationships and remove impediments to delivering on our commitments.
Responsibilities
* Coaching and mentoring Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams in Lean-Agile principles and practices.
* Proactively identifying and removing impediments, risks, and dependencies that hinder the delivery of software.
* Driving a culture of continuous improvement within the team, and fostering an environment where teams can learn, adapt, and optimise processes.
* Orchestrating key events such as PI Planning, Inspect & Adapt workshops, and System Demos.
* Guiding the Agile Release Train on how to deliver high-quality, customer-centric solutions on time, maximising business value.
* Serving as the primary mentor and coach for the Scrum Masters in the team and helping them improve the skills they need to support their teams.

* Having practical experience of applying Lean-Agile principles and the SAFe framework.
* Demonstrable ability to coach, mentor, and inspire small teams where every contribution matters.
* A servant leadership mindset that empowers teams, fosters psychological safety, and removes obstacles to reaching their full potential.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills to work with a geographically dispersed team in the UK, Europe and India.
* A commitment to quality and transparency, including involvement in regular audits and keeping documented processes up to date.
