Your new role
Youll work directly with young people affected by drug and alcohol use, delivering early intervention, harm reduction, and resilience:building support. Youll be part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team committed to empowering young people to make positive choices and lead safe, healthy lives.
Deliver targeted interventions around drug and alcohol awareness. Hold a caseload of young people and provide 1:to:1 support. Plan and run group work programmes. Conduct screening, assessment, and care planning. Provide psychosocial interventions and post:treatment support. Work closely with partner agencies (e.g., youth justice, schools, social care). Identify and respond to safeguarding concerns. Promote community involvement and advocacy. Empower young people to lead safe, healthy, and purposeful lives.
What youll need to succeed
Experience working with young people. Understanding of substance misuse and related issues. Knowledge of safeguarding frameworks (e.g., Fraser Competence). Ability to work in a person:centred, strengths:based way. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
