Description
* Maintain and enhance financial systems to support business objectives.
* Identify and resolve system-related issues within the accounting & finance department.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system improvements.
* Prepare and deliver reports to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
* Provide training and support to end-users on financial systems and processes.
* Assist in system upgrades, testing, and integration activities.
* Document financial system procedures and ensure they are up to date.
* Support the month-end and year-end financial close processes as needed.
Profile
A successful Systems Accountant should have:
* A strong background in financial systems within an accounting & finance setting.
* Experience working in or alongside the life science industry is advantageous.
