About The Company
Our client is a leading designer, developer, and global supplier of power semiconductors, delivering high-performance solutions for HPC, automotive, industrial, and energy applications. Their advanced semiconductor technologies drive efficiency, reliability, and innovation across global markets.
To support their European R&D expansion, they are seeking an Experienced Applications Engineer, based in the UK, to lead Applications and Validation activities working on next‑generation power semiconductor solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical applications/validation support for power semiconductor design and development in the UK
* Define and drive design strategies, methodologies, and innovation roadmaps
* Collaborate with global engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams
* Engage with customers and industry partners to align design efforts with market needs
* Ensure compliance with quality, reliability, and industry standards for power semiconductor design
Qualifications & Experience
* Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field
* Extensive experience in power semiconductor design, including MOSFETs, IGBTs and PMIC's
* Proven experience leading application and validation activities on complex PMIC designs
* Strong understanding of design tools, simulation methodologies, and power electronics applications
* Strong communication and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional global teams
* Fluent in English
