Gill Marsh Forecourts Limited is an expanding operator of Spar convenience stores and forecourts, dedicated to providing exceptional service and quality products to our customers. Our mission is to create a welcoming shopping experience that meets the needs of our community. We have sites at Bilsby, Partney, Alford, Louth, and Ulceby. this position will be based at our Bilsby store which sells a wide grange of groceries and also contains a food to go department and a a post office. We also offer a Snappy shopper online shopping/home delivery service from this store. We are offering permanent minimum 15 hour contracts but further hours might be available at our other stores.
Summary
As a Sales /kitchen Assistant at Gill Marsh forecourts Limited, you will play a vital role in delivering outstanding customer service and supporting store operations. This position is essential for enhancing customer satisfaction and driving sales growth within our convenience store.
Responsibilities
* Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
* Maintain a clean and organized store and Kitchen environment.
* Process transactions accurately and efficiently at the checkout.
* Restock shelves and ensure product displays are appealing.
* Deliver Snappy Shopper items using our company vehicle in the local area
* Produce food to go items eg. breakfast wraps, bakes, burgers etc
* Provide information about products and promotions to customers.
* Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets.
Requirements
* Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
* Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour.
* Good knowledge and experience of working in a food to go environment
* It would be an advantage if you have post office experience or are willing to learn
* Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
* Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
* Willingness to learn about products and store operations.
* A full clean driving licence
