To maintain and repair to a measured quality standard, the Heavy Goods trailers of the TIP Group assets (primarily trailers) and its customers' own assets at customers' sites/VMU’s/TIP workshops or roadside.
Responsibilities:
* Inspect, service, and repair trailers to a high maintenance standard, ensuring conformity to all current company EHS guidelines, policies, procedures, and mandatory EHS legislation.
* Ensure all compliance details are completed accurately and promptly.
* Undertake all required training as deemed necessary by the company.
* Provide high customer service levels while working to specified deadlines.
* Always adhere to the company’s health & safety policies and procedures.
* Conduct oneself in a manner that consistently demonstrates TIP values & behaviors.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Must be a “Time Served” technician or possess City & Guilds 1, 2 & 3 Certificates or equivalent qualifications & experience, with a technical background in trailer repairs.
* Welding experience - preferable.
* High enthusiasm & good communication skills.
* Basic knowledge of computers and ability to complete relevant written documentation.
* Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
* Initiative to work autonomously if required.

Job type:
Permanent full-time – 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with 30 mins paid break and 1-hour unpaid lunch break daily.
