About the Role
As a Class 1 Driver, you will:
1. Operate a curtain-side trailer on night trunking routes from Cullompton to Leicester and onward to Birmingham Pallet Network hubs, returning to Cullompton.
2. Provide cover for internal trunking when required, ensuring all freight is accurately checked and verified against manifests at each depot.
3. Load and secure goods to a high standard, using appropriate restraints (straps, nets, etc.) to prevent movement or damage in transit.
4. Carry out thorough daily vehicle safety checks using your company device, maintaining high standards of compliance and reliability.
5. Maintain clear and consistent communication with the transport team, providing timely updates to support operational efficiency and customer service.
