Overview
Provide clinical leadership, dental advice and treatment within orthodontics for patients requiring cleft lip and palate, hypodontia and jaw deformity management.
Responsibilities
* New patient referral clinics
* Personal treatment
* Clinical postgraduate teaching
* Multidisciplinary planning and review clinics
* Collaboration with colleagues from other specialties involved in the Multi‑Disciplinary Teams.
* Develop and contribute to continuing education, professional development, audit and research within the Directorate and Trust.
Qualifications
* Post‑graduate training and registration as an Orthodontist.
* Experience in cleft lip and palate management.
* Experience in hypodontia, jaw deformity, dental trauma and ectopic teeth.
* Strong clinical leadership and ability to teach postgraduate trainees.
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
* Fluent spoken English as required by Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
