Based in Wickford, Essex with close road links to the A127/A13, they are looking to add to their Operations business with an experienced Operations Manager who can compliment their team. Our client has a long, established history within this sector and offers advice, maintenance, open space management, landscape design & creation, tree surgery, civil engineering plus much more. Candidate profile: Graduate level operational leader/qualified to or working towards an NVQ 4 qualification as a minimum requirement. Strong interpersonal and communication skills Effective team leadership skills Financial literate with experience of managing project and resources aligned to budgets. Good understanding of practical, technical, financial, and qualitative requirement Good working understanding of Microsoft applications, especially Excel Role requirements: Operational delivery – responsibility for ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget and as per contractual requirements. Customer Service – overall responsibility for ensuring best in this area. Financial Management – Ensuring the financial integrity of projects across the region. Prestart process – responsibility for ensuring the agreed prestart processes are adhered too Team Management – Responsibility for the operational team members Tender – Support Regional Director & Regional Sales in pre-tender situations. Sales – Attend sales meetings with clients to gain greater understand of their requirements. We are looking at candidates who can fulfil the above criteria. In return we are offering a salary in the region of £40,000 plus car allowance, 25 days holiday, pension, medical & health care
