About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Primary Teacher to deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across core subjects, including English, Mathematics, and Science. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire pupils and support their development as they prepare for the transition to secondary education in a nurturing and inclusive school environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum
2. Teach core subjects, ensuring lessons are accessible and differentiated to meet all learners’ needs
3. Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress and attainment
4. Prepare pupils for end-of-key-stage assessments, including SATs
5. Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that supports learning and development
6. Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
7. Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and parents/carers
8. Contribute to the wider school community and extracurricular activities
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
9. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
10. Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs welcome to apply)
11. Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
12. Experience preparing pupils for SATs (desirable)
13. Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
14. A nurturing and adaptable approach to teaching
15. Strong communication and teamwork skills
16. A passion for primary education and pupil development
