Role: Semi-Skilled Workshop Fitter
Location: Worksop, S80 3AT
Hours: 40 hours per week | between 06:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday
Hourly Rate: Up to £15.27 ph DOE
Are you hands-on, reliable, and ready to grow your skills in a fast-paced workshop environment? We’re looking for a motivated and safety-conscious Semi-Skilled Fitter to join our Manufacturing team in Worksop. This is a practical role where you’ll support the production process by assembling components to specification, maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Follow build procedures, drawings, and instructions accurately
* Work to takt times and complete daily time sheets
* Take ownership of your own quality and inspect your work
* Use the correct PPE and promote good housekeeping
* Support team members and assist with other operations as needed
* Be flexible and willing to move between departments when required
* Maintain punctuality, discipline, and a positive attitude
Ideal Candidate / Qualifications
* Experience in production assembly or manufacturing environments
* Health & safety awareness and ability to follow procedures
* Capable of working to operation/takt times
* Able to record activities and complete documentation accurately
* Self-motivated with a “can-do” attitude and team spirit
* Willing to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks
* Experience in body building, coach building, or reading engineering drawings is a bonus
* Flexible with working hours and available for overtime when required
