The Role:
The purpose of the "Service Controller" role is to:
To Engage proactively on behalf of our client with suppliers, customers, and various departments within the business to ensure the consistent and effective operations processes are implemented following any breakdown, service request or any other demand that requires action from the field service team.
This role is an opportunity to identify where improvements and efficiency's can be achieved across the way in which we engage with multiple processes.
Working closely and in collaboration with all individuals & teams to deliver Leading Service, consistently adding value for our customers, suppliers and colleagues.
1. RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Service: To execute a consistent and effective process around with clear communication with all stakeholders is essential in making sure everyone inside and outside the business is clear on what is expected of them and by when. This communication will allow the appropriate person within the business, typically the salesperson, to manage the customers' expectations around equipment readiness and delivery, where applicable.
Communication: Communication is key to the success of this role.
Market Intelligence: Ensure the consistent and effective collating and reporting of any market intelligence that you come across including account contacts for marketing purposes - names, telephone numbers, emails and addresses, which should be kept updated on the CRM.
Machine Inspections: Ensuring there is a robust process in place for regular machine inspections that are conducted along a consistent format is a vital element of the role.
Managing & arranging service work to ensure all work is carried out on time and in line with manufacturers guidelines
Supplier Issues/Request
Debtor Query/Dispute
WIP - Service WIP
Parts ordering - filter kits
Engineer reporting, accuracy and timely
Covering PM engineers & scheduling in work
Confirming with customer of attendance after service sale
Ringing and selling services
Telematics monitoring / power bi monitoring
Advising customers on oil sampling
Managing servicing spreadsheet
Capturing upsells from service reports and estimating work
Maintaining email inbox
On-time servicing
On-time contract servicing via spreadsheet/ power bi
2. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
High level of communication
Medium level IT - SAP/Excel
High level of technical knowledge
High level teamwork
High level organisational skills
High level of prioritisation
Medium level of relationship development
Salary: £25,396
40 hours -Monday to Friday
