Do you enjoy empowering people to overcome homelessness, building supportive communities, and leading meaningful group activities?
As a Group & Peer Support Co-ordinator, you will lead and inspire a team of Peer Support Mentors across Wakefield to support clients or individuals who are or are at risk of homelessness. You will provide group activities and one-to-one support for adults at risk of homelessness. Your role will involve developing and delivering positive group sessions, supporting life skills, and facilitating access to training, employment, and housing opportunities.
Who we’re looking for:
* A people-person with experience delivering group activities or training, especially for vulnerable individuals with complex needs.
* A confident leader capable of recruiting, supporting, and supervising volunteers and peers effectively.
* A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills and emotional resilience.
* Possession of a full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the Wakefield area.
