My client is looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join their dynamic Trading function, supporting one of their Senior Merchandisers within a specialist product category team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee or Assistant Merchandiser ready to take the next step — working across stores, online, and high-street partner locations to help maximise sales, profit, and opportunity.
1. Support product planning, forecasting, budgeting, and trading to drive category performance.
2. Maintain and update WSSIs, reviewing sales and stock levels, and helping implement commercial actions.
3. Conduct in-season analysis to optimise sales and manage risks.
4. Assist in budget planning by category, option count, and depth of buy.
5. Partner with the buying team to shape the range using data and commercial insights.
6. Analyse category, line, and store performance to improve assortment planning.
7. Present trade performance findings and recommendations in team meetings.
