Account Manager

Account Manager
, a role responsible for the retention, growth, reactivation, and development of a group of customers within a given area.
This is an office role and is not field based.

Key Responsibilities:
* Drive profitable sales growth by exceeding targets within the existing customer base.
* Stay informed on competitor activity and market trends.
* Retain customers through personalised, proactive communication.
* Strengthen relationships to increase our share of customers' business and identify new opportunities.
* Keep product and service knowledge current.
* Use data to re-engage lapsed customers and prevent lost sales.
* Collaborate across teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
* Manage customer risks, including lost sales and credit issues.
* Create account plans to maximise customer engagement and grow sales.
* Study sales data and market insights to make informed decisions.
Requirements:
* Experience in a structured sales or telesales environment.
* Knowledge of the foodservice sector.
* Track record of meeting sales targets.
* Strong active listening, negotiation, and commercial skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Strong planning, organisation, and teamwork skills.
