FT Recruitment has been asked to partner with our technology-focused client, managing their recruitment process for an IT Engineer to join their growing team in Aberdeen. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and customer-focused individual to play a key role within a busy IT support environment, coordinating service delivery while developing their technical expertise.
Key Duties:
* Coordinate the day-to-day operation of the support desk, ensuring tickets are prioritised, assigned and resolved efficiently
* Monitor service levels and act as an escalation point for issues at risk of breaching agreed response times
* Take ownership of critical incidents, driving resolutions through to completion
* Schedule engineer rotas and coordinate both planned and reactive client site visits
* Maintain accurate ticketing, time recording and service documentation within internal systems
* Support the continuous improvement of service processes and operational procedures
* Provide remote technical support to clients as required
* Build and develop technical knowledge across networking, operating systems and cloud technologies
* Work closely with internal teams to ensure a high standard of customer service and support delivery
This role is suited to someone with previous experience working within an IT support, service desk or technical coordination environment. Candidates must also have a full UK driving licence.
Candidates should be comfortable engaging with various stakeholders whilst upholding a professional relationship often explained technical terms in non-technical jargon.
