Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking orders and providing recommendations to enhance their experience.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, demonstrating basic maths skills.
- Assist in restocking supplies and managing inventory levels to ensure the bar is well-equipped.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to provide seamless service during busy periods.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by being attentive to guests' needs and responding promptly to requests.
Experience
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is preferred but not essential as training will be given.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain health standards.
- A friendly disposition with excellent communication skills, enabling you to connect with guests effectively.
- Basic maths skills are necessary for handling transactions and managing tabs.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £10.00-£12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 19 per week
