The shift pattern for this post is Monday to Friday, 0900 to 1700.
This new position supports the expansion of the Clinical Associate in Applied Psychology (CAAP) role within the Renfrewshire CAMHS team. The post holder will provide supervision to lower-grade staff and deliver group and individual interventions suitable to their training level within a Tier 3 CAMHS setting. Renfrewshire CAMHS is a friendly team known for service development and improvement. We seek an enthusiastic CAAP to join our team, working alongside established clinical and applied psychologists.
You will work with a Consultant Clinical Psychologist and Principal Clinical Psychologists, who will provide supervision, as well as a team of Child and Adolescent Therapists and an Assistant Psychologist. There are excellent opportunities for peer support.
You will join a network of over 100 psychologists working with children and young people across various settings, with strong professional support and collaborative relationships with other disciplines and agencies. The service maintains close links with the University of Glasgow’s Doctorate in Clinical Psychology and the University of Edinburgh’s MSc Course in Applied Psychology for Children and Adolescents.
The ideal candidate must have an honours degree in psychology (eligible for GBR) and a postgraduate MSc in Applied Psychology (Healthcare) for Children and Young People.
