We are seeking Scoping Project Managers to manage the end-to-end Billable Works (Projects) process (concept-design-pricing-delivery-handover) within our programme. The role ensures high-quality output and timely, within-budget delivery of projects.
As a Scoping Project Manager, you will oversee the delivery of Billable Works in compliance with Government Regulatory and Statutory requirements, Health & Safety, and Environmental standards. Responsibilities include reviewing Risk Assessments and Method Statements, ensuring all documentation is completed and uploaded to Sharepoint, managing tasks via the Maximo system, and maintaining work plans and budgets aligned with programme and financial targets.
You will coordinate with local DIO representatives, the Local Customer Service Representative, and Site Managers to agree on scope, priorities, and delivery schedules. The role involves managing contract risks, controlling costs, and managing stakeholder expectations through effective communication and sound commercial decisions. Supporting end users and management to provide optimal solutions, including addressing end user issues and supporting the MoD's carbon reduction targets, is also key.
The scope includes all aspects of construction works—refits, refurbishments, new builds, demolitions, and routine maintenance.
Requirements:
* Experienced Project Manager from a Construction background
* HNC/D level qualification in Building/Civil Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience
* Experience in planning, directing, controlling activities, and managing scope and priorities
* Proactive in performance management and problem-solving
* Full UK driving license and ability to pass SC Clearance
